Hot Flashes: A Self-Help Guide

Hot Flashes: A Self-Help Guide

Hot Flashes: A Self-Help Guide

If you understand what causes hot flashes, you will have the basics to understand some of the most common problems caused by perimenopause and menopause.

If you don’t have experience with hot flashes, here’s what happens:

Hot flashes can last from a few seconds to ten minutes. They start with a sudden rush of warmth spreading through your chest, neck, and face. Your heart rate will become rapid with a feeling of anxiety. Your skin will appear red and blotchy, and you may sweat throughout your upper body. As the hot flash lets up, you may feel chilled from the sweat. When this happens in your sleep, you wake to all these symptoms, plus wet pajamas, which must be changed—often while you are freezing from being soaked. NOTE: The above should be required reading for husbands who have no clue what you are experiencing. Hot flashes can range from a mild nuisance up to a significant health problem. They can happen any time of day or night and can cause long-term sleep problems. Most women who have hot flashes experience them at least daily. On average, you’ll deal with hot flashes for seven to ten years, starting with perimenopause or menopause.

The Secrets of Avoiding or Improving Hot Flashes

Hypothalamus Location

Hypothalamus

Hot flashes occur because of changes in your estrogen levels. As you approach and move through menopause, your ovaries reduce the output of two hormones: progesterone and estrogen. It’s the lowered estrogen that’s responsible for hot flashes. Low estrogen causes the hypothalamus (a hormone gland in your brain that does many things, including controlling your thermostat) to become sensitive to tiny body temperature changes. If your super-sensitive hypothalamus decides your body is too warm, it can initiate a chain reaction of events to cool you off: the hot flash.

Adrenal glands to the rescue!

Adrenal Gland Location

Adrenal Glands

Healthy adrenal glands can often make up a part of the estrogen production lost from the ovaries during menopause.  Sadly, our society has an epidemic of exhausted adrenal glands, which has produced millions of miserable menopausal women.

What stresses adrenal glands?
  • Eating sugary foods, processed carbs (bread, rice, pasta), wine and alcohol, fruit juices, and too much fruit.
  • Eating on an irregular schedule and skipping meals.
  • Inadequate sleep.
  • Burning the candle at both ends—a high-stress lifestyle.
  • Being sedentary—not getting enough activity or exercise.

Reading this list, you can see why adrenal insufficiency is an epidemic in our society!

What to do, and the order to do it in!

If you want to improve your hot flashes, the most important thing to do is take brisk walks for 30 minutes or more (or equivalent) at least every other day. Then, the second most important thing to do is stop raising your blood sugar. Here’s the list of adrenal “repair” actions: Blood Sugar Roller Coaster

  1. Stop raising your blood sugar level (stop eating cake, candy, cookies, soda, wine and cut way back on bread, rice, pasta, and white potatoes). Read details HERE.
  2. Don’t skip meals. Eat something every four hours, and eat within 1 ½ hours of waking in the morning.
  3. Do at least 30 minutes of brisk walking (or equivalent) at least every other day.
  4. Get good sleep! (Set a stable bedtime, wind down for an hour before bed, avoid blue screens near bedtime.)
  5. Reduce your stress. Breathing exercises, yoga, walks, “me” time. Do what it says in THIS LINK.

When is the best time to start helping your adrenal glands to become healthier? Many years ago! But if you’re in trouble now and it’s possibly because of your adrenals, there’s a lot of improvement available. Get started with the actions listed, and talk to me if you need more help. Hot Flashes Completely Gone
I’ve completed two weeks of treatments. During this time my hot flashes are completely gone. It is amazing that I’ve had hot flashes for approximately two years and only after two weeks I don’t have any. Thank you Dr. Billiot for eliminating my hot flashes. — S.J.
I Sleep Soundly
Years of going night after night with being wakened by hot flashes and night sweats had left me exhausted, wondering where, how and if I would ever have relief. Since focused treatment on the sex hormones – estrogen, progesterone, etc., I have gradually gotten relief with each treatment. Now I only experience a hot flash and night sweat occasionally. I sleep soundly and wake up easily. My mind is clear and I just feel good in general. Wow – what a difference! I thought I would never get such relief naturally, knowing my body is healing itself is reassuring about this method of treatment. Acupressure Hormone Treatments rock! —D.Y.
Solve Stress Backwards

Solve Stress Backwards

Is It Because of the STRESS, or Because of Poor Health?

Spoiler: Later in this post, I will show you how to make some simple changes to demonstrate how you can be DONE with your stress problems. Stress in our Covid world is high and getting higher. It’s not like there was no stress to start with, either.Stress has severe effects on your body and health. The hormone, nervous system, and circulatory system changes your body makes in response to long-term stress can cause many health problems:

  • Headaches: Stress can trigger or intensify tension headaches.
  • Heartburn: Stress can increase stomach acid and cause reflux and heartburn.
  • Shortness of Breath: Rapid breathing from stress can tense up muscles.
  • Pounding heart: Stress hormones increase heart rate.
  • Irregular periods: Stress hormones throw sex hormones out of balance.
  • Depression: Chronic stress can wear you down and wear you out.
  • Sleep: Stress makes it harder to get to sleep, and stress hormones can wake you in the night.
  • Weak immune system: You become more vulnerable to infections (not what you need now).
  • High blood sugar: Your liver releases extra sugar with stress which can cause or worsen type 2 diabetes.
  • High blood pressure: Stress hormones tighten blood vessels and raise blood pressure.
  • Stomach aches: Stress affects digestion and can cause cramping, pain, and nausea.
  • Low sex drive
  • Shoulder and back pain: Tense muscles from stress cause tension-related pain.

Patching Up Your Stress

A patch is a temporary fix for a problem until you can get it repaired correctly. If you research stress solutions, you will find about 99% of them are patches.

Stress “patch” examples:
  • Breathing exercises
  • Walking away
  • Be more aware of your body, and its effect on your stress symptoms
  • Taking care of yourself, trying to relax
  • Drugs
  • Supplements
  • Meditation

All of these may reduce (temporarily) your stress symptoms and make your life more tolerable. However, none of them will solve your stress problem.

This is Important:

Unless you know three important facts, you will be “patching” your stress symptoms for the rest of your life. I may sound dire, but realize that none of the actions you’ll ever see recommended to help handle stress are intended to END your stress problem; they are designed just to kick the can down the road. They are “patches.”

The real solution to your stress problem is not supposed to be possible.

Medically, the solution doesn’t exist (which should be obvious, as otherwise millions of stressed people would be treated and getting better). Here’s what you must know to get DONE with your stress problem and all the symptoms and misery you are experiencing:

  1. Many of your health problems are from physical and mental stress sources. They are related to how your body physiologically handles long-term stress. Stress-induced health problems are caused by the damage to your body from long-term stress and the body’s resulting inability to handle that stress. Stress burns up minerals and B-vitamins at alarming rates. When you have been stressed for long periods, your brain and other organs can become affected. This can cause brain fog, exhaustion, inflammation and subsequent health problems.
  2. Your body can be in very poor condition, but your medical doctor may tell you that you’re completely healthy. Basic conventional blood tests are very specific and may not catch the majority of health problems. The average person has chronic symptoms with no medical treatment, and it’s become the norm to say these people are healthy. Even if your blood work is normal, you may still not feel right. If you feel bad, something is going on in your body that isn’t right.
  3. It’s possible to take actions that will help your body regain and restore its ability to heal itself. Doing this allows you to become healthier (often dramatically so). As your body’s health improves, it will become more and more able to handle the stress in your life. Eventually, you can solve your stress problem BACKWARDS: By getting your body healthy enough to deal with the stress instead of trying to reduce the stress, so your unhealthy body isn’t overwhelmed.

You may not have heard of this approach before because medical doctors aren’t trained to help the body become healthier overall. Medicine is involved in the treatment of disease and the reduction of symptoms.

Get Started

To get started, you should do an experiment to discover for yourself that you can help your own body get healthier and feel better without drugs or various stress-reducing exercises. Once you’ve proven to yourself that there is a way to (permanently) feel good, be healthy, and still handle the stress in your life, you can decide what to do next to continue your healing and improvement.

Your Experiment:

You will make a series of simple diet changes that most people can accomplish in a few days. You won’t be doing a long-term “healthy diet.” This experiment is a short-term method of removing immediate stress from your immune system. With less stress, your immune system will be able to get some of your health issues under better control. The important thing is that you will notice the difference and see that this works. Read this link and do what it says. If you make these simple diet changes for about two or three weeks, you’ll very likely see some remarkable changes in your body. You aren’t likely to be done with your stress problems, but you will have seen a demonstration of how doing the RIGHT thing can make notable changes in your health.

Once You’re Convinced

Talk to me! Everyone needs an individual program to improve their health. I can help you find out precisely what YOU need to do to be done with your stress… forever.

Baking With No Sugar

Baking With No Sugar

HERE ARE SOME BAKING TIPS FOR (HEALTHY) TREATS

I have spoken to many patients, and every one of them was concerned about eating healthy over the holiday season. Here are some tips and ideas so you can literally “have your cake and eat it too.”

 What if you don’t bake?

One way to get healthy treats is a bakery in Sandy Springs that makes low-to no-carb treats! Yes, that means no sugar! They also ship. Zambawango

Zambawango

If you DO bake (or have a baker in your house):

It always helps me to make a plan before any large holiday meal. I decide what I will eat and what to do about the snacks and desserts that may be available. If I’m doing the cooking, I don’t have to worry! But that is not always the case if someone else is supplying the food. If you want to bake this holiday season, I want to give you some tips on using excellent sugar substitutes that make your baked goods taste just as good as usual, but with much less sugar and carbohydrate content. It is easy to cook with sugar substitutes and get rid of that unhealthy refined white sugar. Here are my all-time favorite sugar substitutes to use in your holiday cookies, cakes, pies, and other goodies.

Monk Baking with no sugar Fruit:

You can cook with this cup for cup. I cannot tell (and neither can my family and friends) that this is not real sugar. What is monk fruit? It is a small green melon found in Southeast Asia. It is entirely natural and has been around for decades but has recently become more popular. It contains zero calories, zero sugar and is extracted from the juice of the fruit. It is very sweet, sometimes 100-250 times sweeter than table sugar. Often you can find this fruit in blends with erythritol (an alcohol sugar) to reduce the intensity. If you have a sensitivity to erythritol, use the granulated version of monk fruit. Monk Fruit on Amazon Link

Swerve: Swerve

Swerve is another sweetener that can be used cup for cup just like sugar. It is an erythritol blend and does not contain calories or raise blood sugar. Swerve on Amazon Link Stevia is a fabulous sugar substitute for sweetening food and drinks, but it isn’t very useful for baking. All three of these are safe for people with diabetes. Honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar, sucanat, or other natural sweeteners still contain many calories and carbohydrates. Even though these sugars are more in their natural state and contain nutrients like trace minerals, they still raise your blood sugar and negatively affect the immune system. Use monk fruit or swerve for the best cooking and baking results. One of my favorite things is to take a favorite recipe and change it into something that is healthier but tastes as close or exactly like the recipe I am altering. Food is fun, and I enjoy baking during the holidays. I do not, however, enjoy feeling bad after eating holiday sugar. I do not enjoy gaining pounds that I have to get off again! Make a plan: switch out refined sugar for something more healthy and feel good about your cooking and what you are creating for yourself and your friends and family! NOTE: Substituting monk fruit will certainly reduce the sugar, but if you are cooking with flour, you still have the refined carbs that turn to sugar quickly, affecting your blood sugar. For those of you who are gluten sensitive, make sure to use a gluten-free flour mix. I have found many keto recipes that make fabulous chocolate cakes, cheesecakes, and cookies for cooking low-carb. Know what you can eat and have fun making some new holiday favorites.

Below I have included some helpful websites for baking with substitute sugar sources:

Detoxification: A Very Different View

Detoxification: A Very Different View

Detoxification: A Very Different View

Detoxification is one of the most cherished tools used by many holistic or alternative healthcare practitioners. It’s easy to understand the concept: we live in a toxic environment, eat toxins in our food, slather toxic personal products on our skin, and often take (very) toxic drugs, both for recreation and prescription.

All this nasty stuff must build up and cause stress, malfunction, and disease. Therefore, taking special supplements while eating and drinking specific foods over some time to purge toxins from the body seems like a no-brainer.

Maybe It’s Not That Simple

There are two opposing schools of thought about detoxification:

Traditional, Scientific Medical View: “Detoxing – the idea that you can flush your system of impurities and leave your organs squeaky clean and raring to go – is a scam. It’s a pseudo-medical concept designed to sell you things.” (theguardian.com)

Holistic, Alternative View: “Health isn’t possible with a toxic body. Specific detoxes such as liver and colon cleanses are necessary.”

It’s been my experience that, as usual, both viewpoints have truths and falsehoods.

If detoxing was as simple as “eat this way and take these supplements to flush out these toxins,” labs could be done to measure toxic loads before and after the detoxes to show how efficient the process was. Sadly, I have seen no credible information that “before and after” toxicity has ever been conclusively measured by a lab. I say “sadly,” because healthcare would be so much simpler if I could detox all my patients into high states of health.

On the other hand, the idea that our bodies can stay perfectly healthy just by eating a standard American diet and exposure to all manner of drugs and chemicals (and worse) in the environment is even more ludicrous (this is the “accepted medical viewpoint”).

Detoxification

Your Body Never Stops Detoxing

Your body’s health and function can be compared to a scale: On one side is your body’s ability to function correctly and handle stress (such as toxins). On the other side are a total load of toxicity and lifestyle-induced stress. If your body can keep up and the scale stays tipped in the healthy direction, you will be fine. Other than some particular situations (heavy metals, radiation, etc.), toxins don’t load up in a body that is maintaining its health.

Things go wrong when your body’s function can’t keep up with the toxic and stress load you are giving it.

Honestly, your body never stops detoxing because the toxins never stop getting into it in our current environment! The trick is to get your body into a health condition where it can “keep up” with the toxic load.

One disagreement I have with the “culture of detoxification” is that often people think they can detox once a year for a week or two as a substitute for a truly healthy lifestyle and effective therapy for their health problems. It’s not true!

Real Benefits of Detoxification Programs

A correctly done detox program has the effect of kicking off a long-term improvement in lifestyle and diet while addressing acute stress in the liver and digestive systems. While I may not be sold on the “Detox to be less toxic” bandwagon, I am very sold on proven and effective ways to improve function and reduce stress.

My favorite detox? It’s the Standard Process “Detox Balance” program. This is a 28-day program of diet improvements and whole-food supplements in smoothies.

Does this “get out all the nasty toxins?” Probably not.

What it does with efficiency for every patient I’ve ever put on the program is:

  • Better energy
  • Better sleep
  • Better digestion
  • Improved mental clarity

Often there are many other benefits, such as improved libido, improved skin, weight loss, etc.

The detox works because doing the program can radically shift your personal “scale” toward the good side.  Suddenly your body has a lot less stress and a lot more function. What does it do with this? It compensates better for stress and starts the healing process.

You get the benefits that are touted for a “detox,” just for different reasons!

You Can’t Stop with the Detox

Let’s say you do a detox and feel lots better. Yea! But how long will this last?

Sadly, not long.

With no follow-up, it’s just like you washed your car. In a week, you can’t tell it ever happened.

However, with the proper follow-up, it’s just the beginning of an entirely new level of life and health!

BUT: How do you know what to do for the follow-up?

Should you “eat healthily?” Well, sure, but what does that mean? And are there specific dietary recommendations that YOUR body needs?

Should you take supplements? Which ones? How do you know they’re correct? How do you know you don’t need more or fewer supplements? How do you know when your body is done with a supplement?

Are there functional problems with your body that will override all efforts to maintain your health? This could be hormone problems, allergy problems, nervous system problems, etc. Do you need therapy for this type of issue? If so, what therapies and for how long?

A Simple Solution: Attend our Virtual Detox Seminar

Are You Frustrated With Your Health? Here’s Why

Are You Frustrated With Your Health? Here’s Why

Are You Frustrated With Your Health? Here’s Why

Janet started to have stomach pain after eating. It gradually got worse, and she started coughing a lot. She made an appointment with her doctor—and started on a trail to complete frustration.

After five doctor visits to specialists, two scopes, and four drugs, her problems hadn’t noticeably improved. Except, now she wasn’t sleeping well because of the pain, and was fatigued at work.

What disturbed her was that this had all happened before. During her college years, Janet started having long and severe menstrual cycles that led to anemia (low blood iron that causes fatigue). Her doctor put her on birth control pills, which helped. But her periods had never been right since, and she feared to get off the birth control. Just like her digestive problems, her doctors had no solution, forcing her to live with her health problems.

Health Problems can be a Slippery Slope

Sadly, I can accurately predict Janet’s future health. The processes that underlie her problems are not medically treatable and will continue to get worse.

Janet will add a new symptom each year or two from now on. She’ll probably develop high cholesterol, joint pain, and more menstrual problems. She may become infertile.

There are thousands of health conditions that are like Janet’s, and the onset of these problems can predict that more will appear. Most of these problems have no effective medical cure, only management of symptoms from drugs.

Two Kinds of Health Conditions

Although this isn’t the preferred terminology, doctors would agree that health conditions fall into two primary groups:

  1. Medically curable conditions
  2. Chronic conditions with no cure that sometimes can have their symptoms managed with lifetime drugs

Here’s the difference:

With curable diseases, the symptom of the disease is also the cause of the disease.

Symptom: broken arm

Cause of the symptom: the arm is broken.

If you treat the symptom, you are treating the cause of the problem. Doctors are great at treating specific, observable problems (like bone fractures).

With chronic diseases, there’s no apparent cause for the problem. For example, with diabetes, there’s no “smoking gun,” no observable problem that, if corrected, would resolve the disease. In Janet’s case, lab tests and scopes revealed nothing abnormal, so there’s nothing for her doctors to treat. The only medical solution is drugs to try to manage the symptoms.

Now the Bad News

An astounding 60% of the adult population of the US has one or more incurable (chronic) health problems. The chances are high that you’re one of the 60%.

Your problem might be relatively minor (acne, heartburn, allergies, sleep problems, back pain, etc.). Or your health could be seriously messing up your life (debilitating fatigue or depression, severe digestive problems, female hormone problems, diabetes, blood pressure, or heart disease).

Once you have a chronic disease, there’s a good chance you’ll develop more of them: 40% of the adult population of the US has more than one of these diseases.

The Cause of Chronic Disease

Chronic conditions come from a place where you might not think of looking.

Here is what happens:

Cause of Chronic Illness

Your body takes on damage every day of your life just from the process of living. For the past century, this damage has become increasingly more intense with toxins in the air, water, and food, highly-processed food with less nutrition, and constant emotional stress. Happily, your body is designed to monitor, maintain, and repair itself continually.

Chronic health problems begin when your body lags behind in the maintenance and healing process, with the damage happening more rapidly than your body can repair it. This “getting behind” occurs because of some specific stress or damage of a type that your body can’t heal.

The process usually starts slowly, with your body compensating for and hiding the damage from you. It can take years for the unrepaired damage to get entirely out of control and force your body to have symptoms. By this time, your body has many malfunctions, but no clear cause for them.

Your health has become a vast tangle of failed attempts by your body to heal itself.

With this confused, tangled, complex damage, it’s not a wonder that doctors are at a standstill trying to figure out a solution to these health problems.

There IS a Solution

Health care is ruled by conventional medicine. If these guys can’t cure a disease, they believe wholeheartedly that nothing else exists or would work, either.

So, you won’t find much information on solutions to chronic conditions written up in the New England Journal of Medicine or on the Harvard Medical School’s website. Instead, there are just more methods of managing the symptoms.

Yet, it’s entirely possible to recover partially or wholly from many chronic conditions. The solution starts with understanding the causes of these problems.

Chronic conditions come from the degradation of your body’s ability to maintain and heal itself.

Your body is operated for you by an “onboard intelligence,” so you don’t have to spend all of your time controlling your digestion, heart rate, immune system, etc. This intelligence is the only entity that fully understands what’s preventing your body from healing and what would have to happen to change this.

So, let’s change roles. Let’s have your body’s intelligence become the doctor, and the “doctor” now can become your body’s assistant in the healing process. After all, who knows more about your body? The best doctor in the world, or your own body?

The key to success with this approach is to do what the BODY wants, not what the practitioner wants. If the practitioner decides what to do and in what sequence without finding the cause and underlying factors as to why the body got sick in the first place, he may be trying to build a roof before putting up the walls. Only the body knows what to do and in what order to do it.

As your body recovers its ability to heal and maintain itself, it will resolve (to the degree possible) the complex malfunctions and damage that created your chronic illnesses.

Awareness

This article isn’t about the technical aspects or methodology of holistic health care.

My aim is simply to make you aware that this type of health care exists.

Most patients trust their doctor as a higher authority. When your doctor (backed up by the vast and intimidating medical health care system) proclaims that you have an unresolvable, chronic disease requiring drug management for the rest of your life, you tend to believe him. And now that you “know” that nothing but drug management of your symptoms can be done, why would you look for another solution?

I just want you to know that it’s possible to find underlying causes for chronic health conditions.

I wish you the best of luck and the best of health!

Would you like to find out how you can obtain more optimal health?

If you have a chronic health condition, you are much more at risk of a poor outcome with Covid-19. CDC “People of any age with underlying medical conditions.”

Any chronic condition can decrease your immune response (digestive problems, menstrual problems, fatigue, sleep, headaches, depression, joint pain, etc.)

Recovering from a chronic health condition can take some time and quite a bit of effort on your part, but the results can be life-changing. Plus, without the stress of your chronic condition, you’re much less likely to become ill from an infectious disease.

If you think that this might be a pretty good idea, I would be happy to see you or to make a telemedicine appointment. Go Here if you are interested in finding out about this option

THE SOLUTION TO CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS is to assist the body so that it continues to heal and become healthier and more resilient, finally achieving a good quality of life and stable health with labs showing normal ranges.

Watch the video below for a seven-minute explanation of how to assist your body in healing itself.

The Three Deadly Attitudes

The Three Deadly Attitudes

The Three Deadly Attitudes

Three attitudes are deadly to solving ongoing* health problems. I call these “deadly” because if you believe these ideas, you will never get rid of your health problems. You might be completely capable of healing and recovering your health, but if you have these attitudes, you will never get the chance to do so.

*Ongoing health problems are chronic conditions with drug treatments that only control symptoms, or no treatments at all.

Here are the deadly attitudes:

  1. Believing that: “Health problems with no known medical treatment will never go away.” (Such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.)
  2. Believing that: “If the medical treatment for my health problem doesn’t work, or stops working after some time, my health problem will never go away.” (Such as uncontrolled blood pressure, osteoporosis, asthma, reflux, indigestion.)
  3. Believing it when your doctor says, “It’s genetics and your age. You can’t expect to have perfect health. I’m prescribing another drug for your (reflux/depression/pain) that might help. But you’ll learn to live with it.” (Such as fatigue, joint pain, allergies, memory, impotence.)

These three attitudes come from thinking that conventional medical health treatments, drugs and surgery, are the only ways to solve your health problem.

Your Body is Not a Refrigerator

Cars, computers, and refrigerators get fixed by applying technology to repair them, but bodies were designed to heal themselves.

In our society, any health problem requires (immediately!) treatment or a doctor’s appointment. But it might be enlightening to you how many of these problems would have resolved themselves if only they were given some time.

Many health problems would heal if given time and just a little help to relieve the stress (such as a healthier diet, more sleep, regular activity, and a conscious effort to avoid emotional stress for a week or two.) But no, we’re impatient to get some immediate relief from the pharmacy or doctor.

However, severe, long-term chronic health problems won’t go away by themselves, even with a very healthy lifestyle. In these cases, your body has run into something that has stopped its healing process. If this is also a health problem with no medical solution (just drugs to control symptoms, or no help at all), then it would appear that you are doing what the doctor in #3 above suggested, and “just living with” the condition.

The Impossible, Unsolvable Health Problem

What if you:

  • Have no energy
  • Can’t wake in the morning
  • Suffer digestive problems
  • Have terrible menstrual cycles
  • Have joint or muscle pain
  • Have debilitating headaches
  • Have embarrassing or agonizing skin conditions
  • Are depressed, anxious, or can’t concentrate?

What if the pills don’t work and the problem isn’t getting better—what if it’s getting worse?

Every day you’re wondering how much more can you take?

If this describes you or someone you know, you are not alone. Not even close. According to the CDC, about 60% of adults in the US fall into this category.

Sadly, almost all of these people will try to “learn to live with” their health problems because they have some of the three deadly attitudes.

But you don’t have to do this.

Here are three examples of people who refused to believe in the three deadly attitudes:

When I first came to Alternative Health Atlanta, I had a lot of issues with kidney failure, blood pressure, and blood sugar. I also had a lot of anxiety as a result of my health. Today after several months of a holistic treatment plan, my blood labs came back, and my kidney values are amazing. My cholesterol is decreasing, and I feel so much calmer. Things are good!

Skin conditions had me really down, excessively dry, aging faster than I should have, tired. I tried on my own but couldn’t figure out the solution. I couldn’t take it anymore and found Dr. Billiot. It has changed my life, the only thing that has worked for me since I have been noticeably uncomfortable for the last 7 years.

I initially went for hormonal breasts, and have seen much improvement in that as well as in many other areas I wasn’t even thinking about when I first went! I sleep amazingly well now, and I barely have any allergy symptoms. (I used to have itchy eyes nonstop this time of year, and a runny nose). My anxiety is much better managed, I don’t have hormonal headaches, and my energy and mood are both significantly improved.
